Unable to load game

I'm on around day 340.. level 27...

From the main menu whenever I lick "Load Game" the entire game simply crashes... (mount and blade: warband has stopped working)

I am playing the Steam Version.. 1.131 with native module...

I am completely addicted to this game! HELP!

it would seem all my save games have some how become corrupt.

Oh boy... 70 hours invested into this game...

I had this same problem with dawn of war II since it uses the same save format... wtf...

I have an Asus laptop, G50vt geforce 9800m gs 512mb, 4gb ddr2 800mhz ram, 320gb hdd

2.13ghz core 2 duo...

this just happened today.. this morning I was in my castle garrisoning my troops D:<

highly doubt it'll work, but if you REALLY want to keep those saves you could try system restore.

I don't think system recovery actually RESTORES lost files like save games... lol

im trying out my backups from the last 3 days...

all of my backup saves say "day 1 incrct file type"

and refuse to load... this is awsome... invest 70 hours into a came... 340 days... Just got marshallship... just got 100 men...

just got first two castles...
now my saves are GONE for NO APPARENT REASON!?

pretty sure it was steam moving from 1.131a to 1.131

this blows.

Atleast it was only $7 moving onto next game.
