The only setting here, I see, which I haven't tried and which might make a difference is:
enable_version_check = 0

So I tried this first and then I tried copying the whole text, but both gave no changes and I get same issues...

If I block taleworlds.com and www.taleworlds.com I cannot connect to server and if I don't I get an invalid serial error (I've got a trial version)...

Trial Versions cannot play Multiplayer....

Perhaps you have an a trial version of Warband. Otherwise, inform the Admins even it won't make difference. Try find an Admin and mail him personally.

delete the folder "mountandbladewarbandkeys"
restart the computer
reinstall the game
play

most of my friend who have the game cant play it anymore.

restart the computer
reinstall the game

yes this is stupid.

we shouldn't have to do this.

what if everytime we buy a game and the Dev make us play with the file and tell us :try to make the game work .

its not my job to play with the file and you know it.

what will happen next? movie maker will tell us to make movie for them?

p.s: i sound angry but im not. im just tired of all the bug.

It's not their job to try and work around your system config either. Difference is, they've not spent $30.

I'm getting 'connection to the server is lost' everytime I try to join a game. And yes I have bought it on steam. Anyone care to give me some feedback on this problem cause no one seems to have it ?

hey guys who're using steam if you're still having trouble i found this on the steam forum and it did actually work

"Right click on your Steam shortcut, properties, compatability, then look at the bottom for a tick box with "run as administrator" next to it.
It'll give you some warning when you first run steam, just hit cancel, seems to work for me now."

It worked for me (non-steam)

Also, this problem happened before I downloaded the patch.  It's a server problem with the patch, not your comp with the patch.
