Unable to connect to activation server (Activating Serial Key)

Since a few days ago, I (and many others on steam) are currently experiencing issues with activating serial keys, meaning new users or those reinstalling are limited to the trial version of M&B WF&S. I don't believe this is an issue with steam specifically, and even Manual Activation (wact.taleworlds.com/manual) gives an 'Oops; An internal error occured.' - wrong serial numbers or hardware hashes will give their different respective errors, and this internal error is only achieved with the correct details it seems. Could this be an issue on Talewords' end? I and many others are eagerly waiting to get into the full game.

Booted up the game today and wasn't asked for activation key and seems to be working now. Other steam users report a similar experience, so seems to be resolved for now.
