And it kind of seems like he's saying that *he* is a Russian nationalist like Putin.

I don't see what the big deal is about someone recategorizing a set of events, other than it being a bit sensationalist.

Capitalist weapons use planned obsolescence to keep the military-industrial-congressional complex greased and rolling, purchase after purchase, money always changing hands and getting dirtier and dirtier, but the enlightened socialist arms industry which values human life above all else produces one rifle for one man, once, and this rifle lives forever. Every Donbass seperatist fighter, like all wise men raised on the virtues of the Pioneers, knows how to reduce, reuse and recycle for the glory of their Homeland and the future of the People.

OMG that is pure black comic gold!

I've got to start hanging around this place more often. You guys are a hoot.

...How the hell does that make him the dumbass?

I'm not sure what "made" Mage a dumbass. He just seems to be that way

ADDIT^2: all caught up now on the thread. Very sorry to hear that things have gone from bad to worse in Ukraine. As I said at the beginning, there was only one way to act to "prevent" this and that ran the risk of global thermonuclear war. Part of me, the nihilistic misanthrope, feels great anger at the West for the long era of growing complacency and delusion about global threats from authoritarian or otherwise 'evil' social forces. But on the other hand, and in this particular instance especially, the more rational and caring part of me accepts that "appeasing" Putin by turning a blind eye to his rape of Ukraine is the "safer" path.

We still have a few more months before our "check with me in a year and lets see if your vaunted sanctions have achieved anything like you expected," Mage, but just a reminder: I haven't forgotten. Nor have I forgotten that you have yet to apologize for accusing me of being a Nazi . . . and then turn right around and suggest I'm saying I am a Russian Nationalist

Like I said, I don't know what "made" you a dumbass, you just seem to be that way. Maybe you'll grow out of it.

He's probably one of those weirdos that considers the War on Terror to be WW3.

When Islamo-fascism really gets going good and hard, and all 3% of the Muslim world (i.e., about 80,000,000 of them who have a hard-on for that particular flavor of supremacist hate) who are for it are nicely congregated, coordinated, organized, armed and incited into something like the "Caliphate" they desire, THAT will be the beginning of WWV. The "War on Terrors" is just the prequel.

80,000,000 picking a fight with the rest of the world? Fish in a barrel. And the barrel is being shot by an artillery division.

Well, not that you had a ton before but any credibility you may have had is done for.

I don't agree with most of what he says, he strikes me as seriously Jewish neocon sometimes, but I may be being unfairly pigeon-holing him for some of his opinions combined with his residence in D.C. But he's definitely not a dumbass, and your willingness to immediately nail him as such for basically no reason definitely makes you the dumbass here.

Meaningless in this case, Anthropoid and Mage have this feud going on that's quite old now, and Anthropoid uses a lot of smileys anyway.

From Russia with love.

Few hours ago during a peaceful march dedicated to Maidan anniversary in Kharkiv happened an explosion. 2 men dead, 10 wounded (so far).

Interesting moment - people say that Russian LifeNews reporters have been there streaming. Why would they stream that rally in Kharkiv? Kharkiv is a peaceful city far away from conflict zone, while the same rally was held in Kiev with countries of Eastern Europe leaders at the same time...

Besides, a member of Russian party "Other Russia" Alexander Averin posted:
"Oh, our guys blew up couple of ukranians in Kharkiv"
8 min later
"Best ukranian - is a dead ukranian"

That's all you need to know about Russia.

How to solve this issue: Have Queen Elizabeth II press her claim on Russia and re-establish the monarchy there.

... and in Germany too.

Because it's the anniversary of Maidan?

What makes this bombing any different from the 80 or so others that have taken place this year?

The fact that an anti-Putin dissident claimed credit for it, I guess. Assuming of course that's even what he meant, he could just be expressing solidarity with the attackers.

You realise that not every single Russian shares these thoughts?
Your question would be valid If I have said "That's all you need to know about Russians."

And they're really happy with this - Link
They say "Congrats to those that did that.
There are few wounded or may be even dead. And we do hope there are dead".

And just to clarify for some retards - there's a difference between War and Terrorism.

"[We work] towards the spiritual rebirth of New Russia under the flags of White National-Socialism"

A real cross-section of the mainstream...

Kharkiv is said to be the next target for a separatist insurrection. It has a separatist movement for a while until it pretty much imploded.

Meanwhile, separatists have said they're retreating heavy artillery and say the Ukrainians should do so as well, which would make it a lot easier for the separatists to enter and take Mariupol as the Ukrainians, as ever, lack anti-tank weaponry. Using a cease-fire agreement as part of your offensive strategy. Real classy.
