Two newbie questions

1) What are the benefits with dragging around Marnid ? I can see those with Borcha, but Marnid ?

2) Will the other taverns get an upgrade too (mighty nice with the Zendar tavern upgrade) ?

Pity that the cost for resting in the tavern is changed -although it seems a bit more correct now (with 2 npc:s in tow)- Ehm, I always thought they slept outside...

A good game with a lot of promise of becoming a great one !
...and yes, I bought it a couple of days ago - in spite of the slightly "sterile" feeling it has in parts.

Hej

1. You can give him some party skills, so you can concentrate on fighting skills. You can also give him weapons, armor and a horse making him pretty good.

2. I think they will.

Marnid, if you give him some fighting skills when he levels, is a great fighter. I have a whole horde of knights but Marnid s the only one that come close to my number of kills.

Give him a sword and put him on a horse.

Of course when I first got him he sucked and mostly just got knocked out. When you first get him keeping him on foot and giving him a crossbow might be a good idea.

I have Marnid in Chain mail armor and gave him my prize longsword and heather shield while running on a heavy hunter. He does pretty well.

re:Marnid

Thank you all for your input !!!

The reason I posted my inquiry was that I thought/hoped that M. would be a great help in the beginning of the game due to his mercantileskill, if one started as a squire... Anyway thx again!
I will also follow [GSF]Bang´s suggestion about M. on foot with a crossbow=good advice *Now, why didn´t I think of that ???*

Btw. Am I the only one that thinks that some of the music in the game is very similar to the music in the Might & Magicgames ?

PS. Nice to see another swede here too (kul!)
