Twitch Streaming

Morning folks.
I'm interested in streaming some gaming over the internet, as well as for uploading to a YouTube channel for historical records. What is the best way to go about doing this? What software have you found the best for doing this?

I use OBS and have no complaints, not exactly the easiest thing to set up but I think there are more than enough tutorials out there.

Works perfectly for streaming at least, haven't explored enough to tell if it has other functions.

It can record to disk, too. Both at the same time might be a bit of a stretch, though. Getting partnered with Youtube and streaming directly there would be one solution for archival.

Thanks chaps, it works great!
The only issue is that I want it to pick up my input into TeamSpeak, along with all of the folk in there. It does this fine but it doesn't get my own communications, it does however get it if I leave my microphone open. I suppose I need to set a 'push-to-talk' button for OBS as well and match it to my regular TS3 input?

Yes. You can find those settings from the Hotkeys tab in settings.
