TWim - TWf-exclusive image uploading site

If you adblock something that's hosted on that site and don't really pay attention while doing so, it can happen. Did the same with imgur a while back.

'kay. Update to the previous update has been applied. You can now close the popup list by clicking the X button on it. It won't show again until you toggle it back on with the L button next to the popupbox button.

Also updated to newer versions of the involved scripts, should work slightly better now if nothing else. Drop a line if serious problems or other bad stuff happen with it!

Hey J, do you have any statistics or something? Just interested to see how much got uploaded to it over time.

The recent influx of donations made me feel a bit guilty for not doing much with the page. So stopped procrastinating on one requested feature thought of a good way to resize uploaded images!
Also works as a one year anniversary thingy.

You'll find a row of new buttons (

) on the page. Selecting one will choose the maximum width/height the uploaded images may have. (Accepted values for 'custom' are 50-4000px)

Tested on Firefox 17, Iron 21 (Chrome, in other words) and Opera 12. So it should work on those and above.
Let me know of any problems!

Note: It only shrinks larger images, doesn't expand small ones.

That was the only missing feature preventing me from not using it all the time

it seems to be always converting files to .jpg even though they're not over the width/height limit. which is not that handy if you wanna upload a png with alpha channel. :/

So it seems.
[me=J]looks into it *[/me]

Fixed, was due to a tipo in the if() statement which checked if conversion/resizing was necessary (had "$res[0] > $this-resize" instead of "$res[0] > $this->resize". No idea how that didn't trigger an error though.)

it'd be nice if it didn't convert big pngs (around 2mb). but it does.

Do people want to load pages with 2MB png images on 'em? 'cause if they do, I can crank it up.

Can't we upload gifs bigger than that already? Because if yes, it wouldn't make much difference if we could png-s too.

people want big pictures with alpha channel transparency and resizing them is just another bothersome step.

'cause there isn't a way to shrink those. And with huge pngs->smaller jpegs you do save a ton of size/bandwith without much noticeable loss in quality. Does **** up the transparency and stuff though.

So, what should it be set to? 2MB? 5MB? 10MB?
