Hallo everyone, after playing this underrated masterpiece for a couple years (I know, sadly I discovered it too late), I decided to register on the forums and pester the community with some annoying questions.

I will point out that I have played Warband for a few hundred hours so far, mostly with the Floris mod pack. Right when I tought that I couldn't endure another playthrough, I discovered that Bannerlords is in the making and I got excited, so now I decided to start one more game while I wait; for what I don't know, but any excuse is good to play M&B.

Since I wanted some change I tryed using the tool TweakMB to adjust some details, but I noticed that the things that always annoyed me the most, cannot be edited.

Is it possible/is there a mod that removes the auto centering of the camera on my hero when I move? Everytime i click on the ground, the doggone camera smoothly moves around to finally center on my army, since I constantly click the map this makes me dizzy on the long run. Unless of course there is a combination of key+mouse click to make this, and I didn't realize it in all this time.

On the long run, Brigand leaders, with their 800 men army are not that funny in my presonal opinion. I can understand that the game needs to scale to the player's level, but I don't find these armies of outlaws realistic, since they go around chopping down whole armies, king and plebs alike. Is there a way to lower the ammount of parties following them? Or remove them altogheter?

Is there any tweak to the campain AI to avoid the constant advancing and than retreating of lords on the world map? I know that I can suggest them to follow me if I plan to attack someone, but if I am not part of their faction, I just have to witness this big army of  300 men retreat in front of a king's army of 180, just because individually they can't match him.

That's all I can think about for now.

Thanks for reading this.

I can't help with the camera or campaign AI...but the oversized brigand parties are mainly a problem with Floris since, when Bandit Heroes are activated numerous bandit parties (default max is  will follow the bandit hero and his party will rapidly grow as he recruits rescued prisoners from defeated parties. By going into mod options you can either reduce the max number of parties that can follow the bandit hero (I prefer 1-2) or turn them off all together. You might still see a few oversized parties afterwards since any party can recruit rescued prisoners and do so without any regard to caps, but the number of them on the world map should be drastically reduced compared to what you're experiencing now.

Thanks for the tip, however I can't find that option you mentioned. I am looking at the floris mod options, accessed from the camp menu. Am I looking in the wrong place? I am using Florsi expanded mod pack 2.54, which should be the latest.

The last version of the mod is actually 2.55, you can find it here. The options to reduce the number of bandit hero allies and turn them off altogether were only introduced in the very last version of the mod.

Well, you can manually move the camera after a move order and it won't auto-center until the next move order is issued. If you're giving a lot of move orders I can't see that being of much help, though.

A Bucketload of thanks for pointing out Floris update!

Regarding the camera issue, I jsut gave up and got used to play with a medium/close level of zoom, with the camera facing the direction I am moving to. Feels like the thing was created with this kind of movement in mind.

You can always try radically different mods, of which there are a handful that are sheer gold and much better than Floris if you want better exoeriences.
