Cool . You could also use this:
dlga_lord_talk:lord_trade 69631 1328  3 31 2 144115188075855919 144115188075856330 542 3 144115188075856330 8 360287970189639680 2147484208 3 144115188075855902 8 0 Let_me_see_your_equipment. 0 1 2051 0 NO_VOICEOVER

It uses the requirements for the "I have a task for you" rather than "I want to give troops to you". So you have to be marshall or king, but you can also do it while the lord is inside a centre. i don't know what restriction are on the troop swap thing.

Even better then. I can finally give my Hersirs custom ordered Hersir helmets... and replace those awful pictish sandals of course.
It also seems like a better way to change your vassals' equipment than the troop editor. It has an RP side to it and you also have to spend some good money to do it.

Yup, plus give them proper horses instead of ponies!

I don't know if you've done this already but remember to increase this red number by 1:
dialogsfile version 2
6710

Is there a tweak to prevent adultery, ive changed my wifes personality a few times using the save game editor and whilst changing it to 25 seemed to reduce the frequency (maybe just down to luck not sure) she still cheated eventually.

On the topic of wives I also thought this was a pretty cool tweak, http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,162477.0.html.

Wife as companion (2.012) based on Captain_Octavius' tweak

If you want to have your wife as a companion then back up your conversation.txt and replace it with this one.

Make your wife into your minister then talk about affairs of state and ask her to rejoin your party (not retire as minister).  You'll get some message about failing a quest, can probably ignore it.  She should continue to show up in your hall and allow you to organise feasts etc.

There will probably be other little bugs with this, strange companion dialog and stuff. Don't do silly things like trying to grant her a fief or ask if she'll support your claim to rule the Northlands.

If you want to do this for another version here are the instructions from Captain_Octavius.

If you're not a king there's a couple more steps to follow. Open the conversation.txt you just swapped in and add these 2 red lines between the 2 existing black ones shown here:
dlga_spouse_talk:spouse_action_h1 69631 1899  2 33 3 144115188075855902 360287970189640150 360287970189640256 31 2 144115188075857381 0 I_want_to_show_love_to_my_spouse.  2184  0 NO_VOICEOVER
dlga_spouse_talk:spouse_invite 69631 1899  0 Join_my_party  3576  0 NO_VOICEOVER
dlga_spouse_invite:close_window 4095 3576  0 Very_good._I_will_join_you_shortly.  6  2 500 3 144115188075855902 2 5 1610 3 648518346341351424 144115188075855902 1 NO_VOICEOVER

dlga_spouse_action_h1:spouse_action_h2 4095 2184  0 Of_course!_What_did_you_have_in_mind?  2185  0 NO_VOICEOVER
Then add 2 to the number up at the very top of the file, probably to make it 6713.

If you're king and use this "Join my party" option after she's been made the minister she may continue to function in that role. Or it will bug out, can't remember. Try is and see!

Hi all

I want to increase minimum number of recruits from villages, towns and cities if possible.

Thanks in advance

Will she stay as your minister though ? If so you can have you minister travel with you  Im only in mid-game on this save so I cant test myself.

By what the tweak says I think she'll act exactly like a companion. So you won't be able to access the minister dialogue while she's traveling with you, just like with any other companion. The question is, if you assign her as minister, will you have access to the extra minister-wife options like organizing feasts?

Edit: I think you can though, as the other options like "Show love to my spouse" seem to be there.

She should continue to show up in your hall and allow you to organise feasts etc.

With just using the alternate .txt file she will be swapped out as minister. If you add my further tweak (the extra 2 lines) then you might be able to have her as a minister and companion. I think her 'occupation' slot being changed may prevent this. But as Estebanus said she won't have the minister dialog when outside the castle anyway.

I don't think tweakMB works for village recruitment anymore, could be wrong though.

I suppose this tweak (quote below) could also be used to give Bran (Caliacas son) some decent footwear, but I'm not entirely sure how to implement the code.
Brans' existing dialogue lines are these:

Could you advise on how to implement the same tweak with Brans' dialogue? (I could make an uneducated guess, but I'd rather save myself the public embarrassment of not quite hitting the nail on the head....). TIA!

Sorry for the messy layout, if I put my question at the bottom it somehow gets included with the quote.

Modify Lord's equipment (optionally if you are their King or Marshall) (2.012) from Estebanus

If you want to be able to modify other lords' equipment as if they are companions then open conversation.txt and increase this red number by 1:

Then edit the file it to add this red line:

Who the hell is Bran anyway? I don't remember him at all, so can't test it.

Thanks! This works, although after changing his equipment and closing the window, you get some dialogue you normally get when talking to bandits (I will not kill you if you join me). No matter though.

After Morrigan joins your party, if you return to the village that was attacked by her and her berserkers, the village elder, Caliacas, will be very grateful and sends his son Bran with you. He has high combat skills (I think they're the same as Morrigans'), but he doesn't level up and you cannot equip him (until now that is).

Ah, never encountered him. Can you upload a save with him? I'd like to have a look at his dialog in game and I don't have a suitable save.

Sure, I put it here:
http://www77.zippyshare.com/v/6S51R9ZK/file.html

Bran mac Caliacas is somewhere halfway down my list of troops, he's the first cavalry man in the list (apart from my companions). Used the tweak to swap his pony for a horse, other than that he's in his original state (just can't get used to those ponies, makes me feel like I'm Lord of the My Little Pony Club ...)

Edit:
(Hint) maybe you can change him into a real companion.... pretty pleazzz, ah well, just kidding.

Thanks Gwim. As you've guessed making him a 'real' companion probably isn't possible without the source code, but I'll have a look at letting him level up.

That would be cool. Also would be cool if he could actually keep the items I give to him.... he somehow managed to turn the heavy horse I gave him back into a pony.

Gave him some more gear and it seems you can replace what he already has except the pony (armor, boots, sword, shield, javelins), but if you add something (helmet, gloves, probably 4th weapon slot - haven't tried) it will be gone next time you talk to him. Any way of 'fixing' that would be appreciated.

Lol ok, he's not actually a 'hero' npc (the type with % health), I didn't realise. That's what's causing your various problems. He can probably be killed in battle too, so be careful .

I'll try switching his flags with the save-editor, probably result in bugs galore but I want to see what happens.
Edit: yeah it crashes it. he's stuck as a normal dude.

Use Morgh's editor to give him the equipment you want him to have, then use the save-editor to change his flags to this: 267387904. That's the best you can do afaik. Maybe someone else knows how to turn him into a hero-type npc.

Ouch, he's been in so many battles I would have sworn he was one of the 'immortals'. Probably got pretty close to losing him as well; he's been wounded several times. So guess when he gets killed I'll have to return to his dad, to tell him his favorite son didn't make it, cause he refused to wear a helmet  :???:

Might try your suggestion with Morgh's editor and the savegame editor, thanks for looking into it.
