TweakMB (With Fire & Sword support!) [v5.09; updated 12.29.13]

my TweakMB won't let me choose my module it has premade ones...

The list of mods that TweakMB displays are only for the selection of the tweak database you want to use.  Once you select the appropriate tweak database, you can still select whichever module you want from your Modules folder.  TweakMB itself doesn't come with any modules.

I've released a few changes for Diplomacy and plan to release a few more (some of which overlap with features here), and I'd like for people who use these changes to still be able to use TweakMB going forward.  I've noticed that you have a bunch of settings for different mods: is there some kind of configuration file (a list of regexes, or whatever) that I could send you to add another option to the list?

Sorry if this was discussed already, but can you provide a list of skills that do not scale past 10? I think there is even a negative effect when you scale past 10 with weapons master and i am starting to wonder about a few others.

For some reason the post I made yesterday disappeared Anyway. I love TweakMB, it's been a fantastic help in fixing the things I don't like so much about the game. I've recently started using the Native Expansion mod, which is awesome, but has some things I'd like to tweak. Unfortunately, a lot of the menu options are greyed out (it also won't allow tavern keepers to buy prisoners even though the option was available). I was just wondering if it would be possible to add support for this mod into a future update of TweakMB?

I can't chance % lord escape afte a battle ( Enemy lord capture rates ). When i open program, in line " Percent chance of a lord escaping after a battle ", it blur, so i can't chance anything.
Please help me, i want capture enemy lord often, not like defaut, too difficult too capture them.
My TweakMB is 4.01
My game is M&B Blade and Sword.....

I would, but I'm honestly not sure myself which skills do or do not scale.  Perhaps someone else could shed some light on it?

Right now there isn't any way to "externally" update tweaks in TweakMB, although it's something I may work on at some point in the future.  Your best bet would be to try and get those changes integrated into the next official Diplomacy release.

At some point, yes .  I actually haven't even looked at 1.140 yet, so I'm a bit behind the curve at the moment.

Unfortunately I think that option has always been disabled for WF&S.  We may have to wait for the module system for that one.

I don't particularly know where to ask this, so my apologies if this isn't the right place.

Using Diplomacy 3.3.2 (Plus the patched files from this thread), I can't seem to change a decent amount of the companion related options (as seen here).

Is there any way to turn off the personality-based complains manually in the patched Diplomacy 3.3.2?

i'm using tweakmb with the new version of WFAS (i realize it's not supported yet). everything that i am supposed to be able to edit for WFAS seems to work fine, except for changing my party size. is there some reason that option would be grayed out for me in tweakmb?

The latest patch for WFAS came out on 17 Jun 2011 and is 1.141, TwMB has not been updated to this version yet as you said.

(As I understand it and please forgive me if I'm over simplifying things) What TwMB does is search through .txt files and matches up the code in its data base to the code in the files if they don't match the corresponding tweak will be greyed out and unfortunately unusable.

The patch for WFAS must have changed something in the code for party size.

When i try to open TweakMB.exe.,then it says:"The application failed to initialize properly(0x0000135).Click on OK to terminate the application." . Why?

there could be many reasons why, It sounds more like something to do with your computer than TwMB.

Things you can try.

-Try running it as Administrator.
-Re-download the program (could have been corrupted on transfer this can happen especially if your using a Download Manager.)
-don't launch it from your Programs folder (this probably is not a factor in your problem but anything is worth a try.)
-make sure you unpack it with rar or 7z (some of those other programs are just pants.)
