TweakMB and Diplomacy?

Can i use TweakMB "without problems" with Diplomacy?

I ask this because i dont know what files are modified by this mod and if they are modified, are they still "compatible" with TweakMB?
 
When you select this module using tweakmb the areas that cannot be tweaked will be grayed out by the program as TweakMB cannot read these files. Also even though you can edit morale. It doesn't seem to work for me.

thanks for the answer, i dont use the morale part anyway.
all i "need" is the part with the ammount of ammo/throwables and the rents of the fiefs :smile:.

oh and another question (dont want to start a new thread):

i saw that this mod includes the recuiter mod as well but i wonder why this mod is only ~2 mb small while the "pure" recruiter mod is ~18 mb large oO.
is the recruiter working in this mod? or should i use the "stand alone" recruiter mod as well?
 
It copies most things from your native file, then replaces what it needs for the mod to work.

That's a good Q.  I noticed with some mods that they are really weird.  The Battle Sizer, for example.  I could swear I saw a "battle size' option in a file somewhere in my WB folder, and it was a simple value (like 1.833 - meaning, 150* that value = what your battle size is).  In other words, I THINK battle size is a simple, easy switch to make... but the battle size is a .5MB executable that goes and does this for you, I THINK, lol.
 
damn the "fief income" part of TweakMB doesnt work with diplomacy (the section is greyed out) :sad:.

Thats because hessuu included the SceneObj folder in his mod. I don't know why though probably an accident when building the installer.
 
yeah thx for all the answers, everything works just fine... ok nearly everything :smile:.
the mod is great i hope there will be more diplomatic options in the future!

as i said above, tweakmb is not 100% compatible because of some modified files and i am unable to "add" a few things which are very important for me (for example: add "speak to the village elder" dialog option and some other ease of use stuff).

and i get 2 errors (script errors) since i use your mod.
seems to be battle related when caravans are involved.
 
I tweaked it and I only get 24d for prisoners. IDK if that's normal for this mod. I also got this error.

what exactly did you tweak? most of the tweaks work for me as well but the (for me) most important ones do not work :sad:.

- i can not add the talk to the vilage elder menu option
- i can not edit the fief incomes
- i can not edit the tax inefficiency (whoah i bet i wrote this word wrong)

any idea how i could do this with diplomacy?

Diplomacy gives you control over fief income and tax inefficiency. But you can't simply change it, it is affected by you while you are playing the game. Since the code has been changed Tweak MB can't handle it.

The village elder/guild master option might be included in future versions, but it's no high priority right now.

Having to ride through a village to talk to the elder or guildmaster is one of the most terribly brutal, painful, annoying, stupid things that I have to do in this game.

Although, right now, TweakMB does allow you to change the town GM option and put it in the dialog menus, even with Diplomacy.  But village elders would be nice to have too!!!
 
The only things I tweak are:
- guild master and elder in menus
- companions don't argue
- larger bets in tourneys
- tavern keepers buy prisoners (doesn't work in this mod)


As for prisoners, why the change? I like the way it's handled in native now.
 
I get right prices for prisioners as well.

Please, Waihti, consider putting "speak with village elder" as a priority. Please?  :wink:
