1. We can't help you if we have no idea where it halted or what the error message said.
2. Most likely you can find the error yourself very quickly by erasing the text files from your mod, attempting to re-compile, and then you'll see where it stopped, i.e. that will be the last file it adds. Then read that file and see on what item / troop / script it halted. Voila, you now know where the problem is, and that's probably some typo that will be easy to fix.
