Good Line Battle all. I didnt like the maps much. Wasnt happy with the amount of firing out of formations, and the trolling and people not listening when someone says go a class, that means go a class you Brunswicks.

Please Post Pictures / Vids and positive comments! Also, I think I will be implementing a Firing out of Formation rule again to try and get a handle on a few of these crazy skirmishes. Please remember you MUST remain in formation at ALL times or I will not hesitate to Remove your regiment from the battle. We need to all follow some basic rules in order for the line battle to be enjoyable by all.

There has been a New Release of the "Secession" Mod which takes place during the American Civil War. This new release features an accurate cannon system, and shotguns! There are Already a good number of events that take place on a weekly basis in this mod, and I would Deffinately Recommend that you attend one, or start a regiment to get involved. This Mod is Still in Alpha, meaning that there is still work to be done, but it has come a long way and can only go up from here! Here is a link to the most Recent Update:

As Promised, the Fire out of formation rule to be added to our set of weekly game rules.
It is against the rules of the battle to discharge your musket, or any other firearm while Not in a formation. A formation is one where each soldier is standing shoulder to shoulder in a line.**
This includes but is not Restricted too:
- Ordering a charge toward an enemy line and firing your weapon at any point during the course of that Charge.
- Marching and then ordering an immediate Halt, left or Right face, and firing a "volley" while members of the participating regiment are still trying to run up onto line. This is allowed when you Order your halt, and wait for the entire line to come up onto line BEFORE giving the Firing order.
**Members participating as skirmishers are allowed to be in a loose formation and are allowed to fire in that loose formation. Spacing between skirmishers should be roughly no more than 5 paces. If there is an obvious excess in amount of space between skirmishers they will be treated under the new Firing out of formation rules.
This New rule will go into effect at the Tuesday north American Line battle on Tuesday March 5th, 2012

Alrighty Guys, Line Batle Tonight. Please be in the teamspeak channel AT 8 pm Est to receive the password. Im going to be watching closely with this new "Fire out of formation" rule, and Admining it harshly. If YOUR regiment is caught breaking this rule, or any other, you will be asked to leave for the remaining portion of the event.

Good fighting today, my regiment was unfortunately severely underpowered because a lot of my guys either couldn't make it or had to leave half way through. But next week I'll have all of my men available so expect a hard fight
Those Reddit cav were relentless out there. They halted my boys multiple times from routing the artillery. Good show.
