Troy mod

I thought of doing a mod on the Trojan War, these are the ideas I have.

-- Create Countries such as Sparta, Mycenae, Ithaca, Trojan, etc..
-- Create a Country to Achillies.
-- Make new weapons, new armor and troops.
-- The map will be in Greece and the city of Trojan

I need people of talent to create the mod.

if you want there to be a Troy mod based on your ideas, you have to make it yourself.
people of talent have their own ideas.

Don't create new topics about the same thing over and over again. A single topic will have to suffice. I've locked your other ones.

Secondly, posting ideas and asking others to make a mod for you will gain you nothing other than pissing off the people who really are making mods.
If you want your ideas to be made into a mod, you will have to at least put some effort into working on the mod yourself (models & textures, a map, the scripting, take your pick). There's a small chance that if what you make is interesting enough, somebody else might offer to help work on the mod.

Not considering what the others have said, Achilles already has a country, he was the prince of a little place called Thessaly, specifically Phthia. Do not trust that aweful movie, read the book, it is called the Iliad. There are many excellent translations, try the one by Lambardo, it is more accessible that many of the others while retaining the visceralness that some of them lack.

Sparta was a city-state, the country was Greece. That's what he meant.

eventaly Sparta was a kind of nickname the real name was something with a L thats what the A stands for the L in the Greece ( maybe i dont explain it good engough)  and a city state is a polis and if you want to know something more i am your man i know of their stratagie,armor,weapons and their weak and strong points etc.

so.... do you still want to make this mod? it wil take some time you know...........

They went through fairly dramatic changes throughout their history, and their style of warfare changed with them. Do you mean to say that you are an expert concerning Mycenaean greeks, or classical greeks, or some other time period? Please do not say that your knowledge comes from an in-depth study of the movie 300...

I think if some people with good skills put their backs into it, this could be a really nice mod. I've always been fascinated by the period and the war, since it was essentially the beginning of the east-west conflict (according to many historians). But many mods have fallen by the wayside that could have been really good...

NO!!1 OF COURSE NOT IT ONLY SOME A GLIMP OF THE TATIC OF THE SPARTAN FALANX!!!!!! i know some tatics of alexander( no no movie ) and his father and some of the pepelosian war and the general tatic they used in marathon i also to say something about their armor and how it look in the begin and some in the middle and in the end... so if you need some map or history call me
