Troublesome Bandits

I'm not sure if this really is a "bug", but sure is retarded.
I'm using 1.131 currently, and when I sometimes take the quest from a guild master to hunt down troublesome bandits, it places the purple bastards right near one of an other vassal, who sometimes to have not only distance, but speed advantage too.

Now I arrived immediately after him, and killed every bandit with my own army, as the other vassal's army just stayed behind, advancing ten paces every few seconds.

But of course when the battle is over, my quest is a FAILURE, because they have been eliminated by another party! What the hell?! It deducts from important town relation, which is a pain in the ass to keep high already.

Please do something with this, tank you

You also fail the quest where the guild master has you kill a bandit group that attacked people near the city if you don't attack the bandits directly, but they join on the side of another bandit group you attack. Then you even do kill them personally, but still don't get the reward.  Fixing this would be nice also, even though it rarely happens.

IMO: player should successfully complete the quest regardless of who eliminates the hostile party, as long as the hostile party is eliminated the quest should be considered successfully completed.
