I sparred with new troops in few fights. Even with current equipement they seem to be quite ok.

And I added Engineer to hire for Your request (it's just normal footman until I have time to implement some cool explosives).

Mind few suggestions on clothing when it comes to Villanise Elite Longbow man and Sharpshooter ? no offense but they looked all but top grade troops, I know you prob want them to stay non chainmail as villanise is hunters etc so here my suggestion.

for the Elite longbow man I suggest hide boots, fur coat, leather gloves, and pilgrim hood.

for the Sharpshooter I suggest light leather boots and armor, black hood and leather gloves it looks clean and matches well.

if you like em let me know and I might give you a few other suggestions

I quite like how they look now... Sneaky And deal quite a lot of damage too... But why not make own troops and post them? The more versions the better. And as I stated I am not going to design troops. I dressed them this one time so beta testers could really play the game. Chinta Kari made very good skills for them and is going to dress them as they should be dressed for final release. And I will repeat one more time that I would like as many different versions of troops as possible.

Yeah I would but still havnt managed to figure out which text file to edit for it to change and allways a bit hesitant when it comes to changing em for the first time but ill look into it for sure.

Download HookiTB's Troop Editor. (The Forge subforum>Unofficial editiing tools subforum). It has easy graphic interface for the beginning.

Designing cool troops is fun thing I agree. That's why I added Troop and Item Cheat so designers could tes everything

i managed to remove everything i did in troops three times in a row >.< when I finally realise you save ur changes with update button not save button lol >.< nearly gave up.

And yeah thos cheats are real usefull especially since its more or the less the exact same list as in the editor

Can You also redress all old troops and bandits? So they are easy to recognize?

Well Cant promiss anything, theres so much to go over, but I will surely look into it, btw does the editor allow me to change theyr names aswell ?

Ill see what more I want to change with vills, then ill take a look at the bandits, btw why you add so many diffrent weapons for them and shield etc ? looks dirty

Yes it does Just don't change upgrade path, it will probably bug SoD. Btw Try if your newly dressed soldiers have proper upgrade patch after dressing them with editor. I noticed it doesn't read the file for upgrade information properly so it might as well corrupt it.

How ever I wont be adding several choices for items the soldier can have, I dont really belive in soldiers belonging to a faction having random stuff, other then mabye for the lowest tier soldiers, is that ok ? you can allways change it later

I also like homogenic soldiers, I want them to be easy to recognize at first glance. But Nobles like knights etc should have large variety of items to use i belive.

One of Your best knight might become Zealot of Your religion if you have enoough faith spread. To have The One You must chose The Old Gods religion at the character creation.
