Troops upgrade syntax error

Hi,
I've searched for this and found something similar,but the solution did'nt worked for me.
I'm working on a small personal mod for 0.960 (waiting for 1.003 module system),but when it comes to compiling with build_module,I get this error :

I tryed everything,even deleting the line,but it then gets an error on the next one.

Please help me before a maul falls on my computer!

that syntax looks ok, and most likely if deleting that line didn't fix it, then that is not the actual problem.  There's probably a syntax error above that line somewhere, probably an extra comma or bracket, etc.  Try commenting out all the lines you modified and see if that fixes the problem, then if it does un-comment a few at a time to try and determine where exactly the problem is.

May be the extra space before "watchman"?

You've probably missed a comma somewhere in your troops file. Check the ones you have made, and if they haven't got a , after them, add one.

Right. First of all, I'm really, really sorry for bumping this 182 day old topic. But I've got the same problem. I've checked everything, all is ok. No extra spaces. No extra commas, nothing.

The funny thing is, the problem's with the same troop! Farmer > Watchman.
Any help? I can't figure this out on my own.

The problem is located  somewhere above upgrade declaration. Maybe extra or missing bracket or not correct number of element in tuples.

It is first upgrade declaration that is why.
It only shows that you have syntax flaw in the code that cannot be localized by the translator.
You may try to comment/delete/undo your last  changes. It may helps to locate problem.

i had the same blasted error, i had no mistakes what so ever,
so i copied and pasted into a fresh module_troops.py and it was fine weird huh?

exactly.
check also that you have commas between troops.
