Troops disappearing

Hi,

I managed to conquer Din Gonwy all by myself, and the King of Gewissae granted me that fief. What I did next was simply massing men inside the city in order to protect it: I had a lair, just nearby Din Cado, where I used to keep all my men.

After placing 200 men of different tiers I went to siege another city in Wales. After few days I came back, and from 230 men in Din Gonwy there were just 150 left and they were ALL low tier troops. There was no siege, no one attacked during those days (were just 3-4 days!!), what the **** happened?! Those men simply disappeared and they're not in my lair either.

Any idea?

So you had Din Gonwy as a fief.
Your personal garrison was added but they were replaced.
It sounds like the game was doing autorecruitment with a script that fills an empty town.
I've never seen it displace added troops, but there might be a hidden trigger.
Did you hire a military minister to do recruitment?
Are they gone from the lair as well?

I haven't tinkered with this script at all. It would be hard to diagnose as well.
It would be quicker to find an answer by asking on the VConquest forum.

Should I assume you are using the Brytenwalda Reworked mod?

I always thought that other lords from the same faction can help themselfs to troops stationed in any towns or castles of the same faction, this may be what happend.
