Suggestion to add dedicated Archers in the Battania main troop tree. Strugia has a Horseman option in the main tree and the elite Druzhinnik in the noble tree, that's perfect. Battania should have the same with an Archer in the main tree and keep the Fian as the elite noble option.

Also, suggestion to split the Camel Cavalry from the Horse Cavalry in the Aserai Troop Tree, instead of the Camel upgrading into the Horse. Would be interesting to have an elite specialised Camel force, with Camel barding?

For now, I reckon Strugia has an exemplary troop tree, even if some aesthetic adjustments would be welcomed (Suggestion to change the name of the 'Berserker' to 'Barbarian' change the name 'Ulfhednar' to 'Berserker' (less exclusively Nordic sounding) and take the aesthetic from the Berserker in multiplayer, which look great and very Slavic.

P.S. Incredibly loving the game so far.
P.P.S. Glad to see you either looked at my suggestion or decided to change the spelling of 'Berzerker' to 'Berserker'!
P.P.P.S. Some banner symbols are off-centre.

For camels I think desert bandits should Stick with them too instead of upgrade to horse. After all they have hideout so they prefer mounts with low supply.

Also all bandits should have an outlaw alternate upgrade path.

Also all bandits should have an outlaw alternate upgrade path.

That's somewhat in the game, like the Sea Raider can become the Sea Raider Warrior, who then can become either the Sea Raider Chief or the Varyag Veteran, but both choices end up in the Druzhinnik tree.

Good thread, I had some thoughts on the matter, specifically regarding the Sturgia tree. I'll post them here:

The naming of "Sturgian soldier" and "Sturgian warrior" should change place. Soldier sounds more mainstream and professional, while "Warrior" sounds more experienced and heroic, it should be the higher tier.

Instead of "Berserker" upgrading into "Ulfhednar", this should be changed to "Shock infantry" upgrading into "Berserker", just remove the "Ulfhednar" name, doesn't make sense anyways. The current "Shock infantry" should be named into something else, not sure what, but it doesn't make much sense as a name for a final tier unit.

Also, "Varyag" upgrading into "Druzhinnik" doesn't make much sense either, either these two belong in two seperate trees, or one of them should be named differently. Considering the inspiration for both the Skolderbrotva and the name "Varyag", I suggest making the "Varyag" the final tier unit of the Skolderbrotva line, and replace the "Varyag" currently in the Druzhinnik line with something else.

Just to illustrate what I mean:
-> Sturgian recruit -> Sturgian soldier -> Sturgian warrior -> Sturgian shock infantry -> Sturgian berserker (and also please give the berserker some actual armour).
-> Sturgian recruit -> Sturgian soldier -> Sturgian warrior -> Sturgian veteran infantry(?) -> Sturgian elite infantry(?)

They need to make the noble troops spawn in towns only, but be pretty much guaranteed to have at least one of the recruiters have them
