Troop names in battles

So what i would like to know is how to enable this feature, i mean i want to see the troop names over the head so i can disable the casualty report (lags my pc like hell)

You mean so that you can tell the dif between friend and foe?    There is an option in warbands option menu that can put the owning lord's banner over friendly troops.  But it's only on friendly troops. As far as I know you can not put names on troops in warband like in M&B, plus that would make it lag all the same because the banners will lag a bit on slower computers.

Get accustomed to your troopers and disable the annoying heraldic coat of arms on your troops head as well. Soon you´ll realize how easily you can distinguish between your troops and the enemies.

Though  the only thing I´ve got activated are the casuality reports. Just to see how the battle goes and wether to push it or turn and run.

problem is, if i remove the flag over the head, i might shoot them since i like to run on my noldor horse with a bow, get behind enemy lines while my infantry is dealing with them, and i shoot "randomly", so yeh it prevents me from klling my own army

casualty report fills my screen very fast and is not only lagging my pc, but also it makes it impossible to see anything to my left ><

Friendly fire happens

Still, just give it a try. You´ll sooner be able to distuinguish friend from foe than you´re now expecting. The casuality report lags your pc? Is your gameing rig that old or are you playing at such huge eyecandy and size levels?

maybe its just me thinking it laggs my pc since it fills up really fast, so i get the idea it lags, if it does its a mere 2 fps max anyway, its still annoying though

and ive noticed quite a good improvement with no shields over the head, still, hard to get used to
