Trivium are the next Metallica

if you think about some band being the next Metallica, turn your volume up, and blast your eardrums with Blackened. If you are still confused, listen to Wherever I May Roam, Unforgiven, and Of Wolf And Man. Then come talking about a new Metallica.

That's what I'm talking about. Classic great stuff. Now if only Metallica themselves would start making music like that again instead of the crap they're putting out these days.

Trivium the next Metallica? Nah. I like Trivium's first album; their second one is OK, but nothing special. They'll never get close to the public recognition Metallica has gotten, and aren't as good as the old Metallica.

Trivium are mediocre, very average and general sound. They may well develop into something better - the band being rather young. They will not be the next Metallica though, they sound so different. If you mean take up a slightly more mainstream position in the market, possible so. They won't gain the following that the likes of Metallica and Pantera had though.

Damn, I was going to see them open for the Rolling Stones next Tuesday. I didn't know they're dead

If they really are touring with the Stones they should just find a new hobby and stay home because Metallica was awesome metal but not so good at rock and roll. I love the And Justice For All record and that one they made after that but since then they just stink, the Stones are always OK though. Maybe the Rolling Stones could team up with Judas Priest, now that would be funny.
