Trial and Disc Version

I could not find this question asked at all on the boards. Having recently playing the trial version of Mount and Blade and enjoying it throughly, I now want to play the full version. Buying the disc version is the only option for me. So will the save files on the trial version work for on my disk version? Does the disc version come with a CD key?

Any help would be appreciated!

Yes... and no you don't need just a retail copy. You can order through this site, Steam, Play.com, or Gamersgate. Direct2Drive also sells the game I believe. Just input the CD key and you'll continue from where you are now.
