Translation?

Hello, im a spanish player of M&B, and im buy the license tomorrow, i haven't problems understand the history but, i'd like to know if there is going to be a translation sooner or later

Since this game has mod-support wouldnt it be possible to just make something like language-mods?

I remember a discussion about fan-made language mods. I think someone promised to translate it into russia or other language.

I just tried rewriting the conversations.txt but it didnt work, the game crashed so i would like to know how they do it.

I am also having a conversation.txt mod on the works, but it crashes.

Likely reason: (space) instead of _.

So, getting some sleep and then proof-reading the file. *sigh*

(And, oh... it might also be so that if the language in question uses special characters, like åäö, those are not recognized and cause a crash.)

Thats also what i think, that äöü and those could be the problem... sad, but not impossible to work around.

For accents, we could have a' for á etc., and a: for ä etc. This is the system some (hm, Links or Lynx?) text-based www-browsers use.

You could just use words that dont contain these letters

That's why I like latin. No different characters to write, just an ē every once in a while, and thats not really important.
