Transfering Saves

Hypothetically speaking, if I have Warband installed in one folder on my computer and then a copy in another folder, is there a way to take a saved game from one and implant it into the other, while retaining all of the saved games information? If so, where do I find this file in my Warband folder and is there a special way to implant it into the second Warband folder?
Thanks ahead of time.

If you're playing the native module at the same patch level on both, then there's no need to transfer anything. Both copies will see the same savegame folder. If the patch versions differ, or if you're playing a mod, then I'd recommend that you export your character's info (character -> statistics -> export) and start a new character in the other copy, importing the character info.

I said hypothetically because I am actually transferring the data between computers, I just didn't want to get confusing. I don't just want the character, I want the whole game. Thanks for the answer, though.

In that case, then just grab the save you want from documents\warband savegames (something like that, anyway) and transfer it into the same location on the other computer, assuming the same OS. Keep in mind that naming conventions may differ if you're transferring from XP to Vista/Win7.

The points I made above still stand - the game on the new PC needs to be at the same patch level.
