probably been proposed... but adding a trailer to the game would make some nice .. er... ad?
with the game engine would look kinda bad.. maybe increased poly for just the trailer.. or making it in something else.. like blender..
not that much of a point.. just for future reference
Trailer would be a good idea as it is for any self respecting game, but I don't agree with having a higher poly count for it...
Games that do that plain **** me... when I watch a trailer I want to know thats what i'm getting when playing the game...
Of course if it is obvious that the trailer was not made with the actual game engine it's a different matter..
When I first saw the screen shots I just thought 2 things: it would run slowly on my pentium II 350 and it would be another point and click rpg.
Tho I read on a homepage somewhere that the dude have liked so much the game and said it was so fun that I decided to do the download and try it.
First of all I found out it to be extremely lightweight (ok I got a GE Force 2 MX400). Despite sometimes, for no apparent reason, it gets like 15 times slower when I go on the main city or on a new fight area (a bug I think).
When I begun playing I found out this to be a completely different game, havent had so much fun in ages
So I thought what I really missed was a demo video showing the game play, I believe 30 seconds of shield and weapon fight then horse mounted fight with sounds, even on a medium quality video would do a lot to promote the game even more
hm.. 30 secs of gameplay...
better make a collage of different stuff for some 1minutes...
i believe there are programs that do that, so could be done..
for beginning it would be good
Of course the main thing to consider with a trailer is that the whole game currently is only 35 MB, so make the vid too big and people may as well download the game...
