Resolved Trade Skill Doesn’t Increase From Caravans

Summary: The Trade skill description in-game says you can level up your Trade skill by operating Caravans. However, no matter how many caravans you own or how profitable they are your Trade skill never actually increases from them.

How to Reproduce: Start a caravan, and notice that your trade skill will not increase, no matter how much money it makes.

Caravans and workshops need an in depth rework and allow for more decisions concerning their production, or trade routes, and maybe more workers management, etc.

I also think creating caravans shouldn't give much trade skill points to the player; you're literally giving out the trading job to your companion. I do agree companions don't get enough trade points (but that's because they all are overleveled from the start with their focus points all over the place). The main reward from caravans to the player should stick with the high monetary gain. If eventually we're given more options on caravans, and we can actually decide on caravans routes and on what they trade and such, then you could gain more trade points, but as of now you don't make much decisions. If you want to grow your skill yourself, trade yourself/be actively involved in your investments, that's my opinion.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files through Steam.
