Hey I have never really bothered with trading in the game but now I want to play it without a major risk of being slaughtered. So can anybody tell me what sorta items i should buy and where about I should sell them, and what items to not buy?

Buy Powder and sell it to almost any castle. Some start to offer roughly 600 while most are 800+. That is really all you need.

Here are a few, get Ingri and assess prices as the best destinations for commodities will change depending on how frequently you trade.

omg look at the local prices!
but i know that in polotsk OR smolensk (i dont remember)they sell fur i low prices...
