I would like everybody to suggest the prices of good in Brytenwalda. As we all know, few items are worth trading (iron, salt and spices) which becomes boring after a while.

When  you add your opinion please state how much you think goods should be bought for and how high should the sell price be

Salt, iron and spices are good the way they are.

Other goods: (buying price =BP, selling price= SP).

Bread: BP=15-20s, SP=30-40s (I think there could be a shortage of food in those times so yeah, trading food could be profitable)
Ale: BP= 75-100s, SP=150-180s
Hides: BP= 50-70s,  SP= 100-110s
Sausages: BP=50-60s, SP= 120-140s
Dried meat: BP = 100-120s, SP=150-180s
Pottery: BP= 200-250s, SP= 350-400s (only few units of pottery can be bought at a time)
wine: BP= 200-250s, SP= 400-500s (luxury goods are worth more,right?)
Oil: BP= 200-300s, SP= 400-600s (luxury good, hard to  get)
Leather works: BP= 150-250s, SP= 350-450s,
Chicken, pork, beef: BP= 100-200s, SP = 300-400s (you can't get a lot of those and food is always pricy)
Furs: BP= 300-400s, SP= 700-900sp (hard to get)
Grapes and olives: BP= 50-100s, SP= 150-200sp
Wool: BP= 100-200s, SP= 250-400s (make it hard to get)
Wool cloth: BP= 400-500s, SP= 700-1000s (I think it you can obtain it from a  workshop)
Grain: BP= 30-70s, SP= 100-150s (shortage of food because of war)

These are my sugestion.  I think only certain towns should use the SP due to shortage of those goods. Don't set these prices for all towns selling a certin ware and towns looking to buy it. different regions need different goods, don't they? If a war lowers the amoun of food you can get higher prices for it in these regions.a

It's not so much the prices of goods, its boring to alt-space between every town to trade goods all the time - with the occasional "you are under attack by bandits" every 3rd night.

If you can set up trade caravans between cities (which can be attacked by pirates / enemy factions) would make trading a more viable gameplay mechanic.

Other then that I don't think everyone wants to spend their time trading - they only do it to fatten their pocketbooks - and eventually set up enterprises so they can fund their wars.

But its a good idea nethertheless - and there are alot of big trading games out there like Patrician and Port Royal that revolve entirely around going from city to city - it can be fun to trade different types of goods rather then iron salt and spice :P

I think you can, I just started playing the Mod, but you can build a supply wagon.  You can assign a hero to lead it if you want, or add troops to it and tell it where to go. I haven't done that yet, but I am using it to lug around more goods at a time(96 capacity I think it is).  It does slow you down, but worth it in my opinion.  Especially if you run into a few bandit gangs one after another, it puts the excess armor/weapons in the wagon if you have room and you can sell it later.

You need tools in your inventory and 2 ponies to make it in the camp menu.
