Town Standing

So I read in the manual that town standing gives you more favorable prices.


I wanted to test this, since I already suspected this wasn't true. I completed the Troublesome Bandits quest. Before turning it in, I checked the prices in the city. I then turned it in, increasing my standing, and checked again. No change.


Am I missing something, is this a bug, or is town standing useless?

Not sure of the parameters of your test, but check this thread for details on town relation affecting price (it doesn't affect it much.)
