Too much stuttering

Hi to all.

As the title
I was able to play the beta in captain mode with all on high-very High with no stuttering and good 45-50 fps.
Now i still can play BUT when i am in cities or the Battle starts(when the real fight begins, not when u move the troops) i have a bad stuttering.
My specs
Intel core i5 6600 3.3 GHz
8 GB RAM
Radeon rx580 8 GB.
I can turn off or try to lower some specific effect on options that cause me stuttering? I tried to play all on medium, but still the stuttering happens, even if lower.

Been having the same problems as well with my laptop. Weird part is that i didnt have those issues before but after some random patch in the multiplayer beta everything just broke and became unplayable
Intel core I5-6200U CPU 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz
8GB ram
Nvidia GeForce 940M

For having spent 8 years in development, the game feels very raw and un-optimized. I can play very visually demanding games like Anthem, Hunt Showdown, the new Modern Warfare, Greedfall, etc. and they all run beautifully but Bannerlord runs like an obese tortoise.

I have the same problem. Multiplayer runs like magic, but single player has stuttering problems.
I've tried lowering the resolution and altered other graphical settings to enhance performance but nothing seems to work. Things get worse when in combat and worse still when entering a city. Yet, like I mentioned before, no problems with multiplayer.

Yeah for me too it runs awful, have stutters opening town interface and when fighting it's impossible it drop to about 3 fps
These are my specs:
Nvidia GeForce 1060 6GB
I7-4790 3.6GHz
8GB RAM

I ve partially resolved using razor Cortex game booster running with the game and lowering Shadows and Total of units to 300. Is much smoother, lag Just the First 20 seconds of clash

That would be because you are simply running out of ram.
Dont know why theyve put 8gb as recommended when 12 is bare minimum
Pic is after 90-ish mins of play

There are three solutions.
-quit the game every 40-50 minutes and enter again.
-buy another 8 GB of RAM
-hope in a fix for Memory usage

I played the multiplayer beta for quite some time and was running flawlessly with high fps on medium and no lag spikes. After some updates in it about a month or two ago something happened and it became completely unplayable with the lag spikes. So idk my 8gb of RAM seemed to be fine for it when I started playing at first but something broke it

Are you trying to imply that multiplayer part of the game is the same as singleplayer?
Singleplayer is always going to be more demanding than MP, especially in a game like M&B

In that case shouldnt the minimum requirements need to be different for the singleplayer and multiplayer?

Im talking about how it is now in the game, not what the devs put onto the storepage, as i said in the previous post.

@Morbo513 and @Nekolacek, thank you for explaining the problems. I'll look upgrading the RAM.

EDIT- Does anyone know if the developers plan on optimizing this game so it doesn't require a larger RAM? Have they commented on this at all?
