Is it just me or does it feel like there is way too much randomness in the game?
The unlock of smithing items, the loot tables, income of workshops, income of caravans, wars declared by factions appear to be random and not based on gameworld event, tournament rewards (I have 9 of the same bloody useless sword already), etcetera.
It feels to me like just having RNG determine game outcomes is a lazy way of solving complex issues. It may be more work but wouldn’t using formulae (which might include a random ‘luck’ factor) be a much more rewarding, better and more predictable solution to determine outcomes of those situations?
