Too much, my eyes hurt(graphics problem)

Something changed that I can't figure out. Now playing and panning the view is too much. Its hard to focus on what's happening on the screen. Things are brighter and more hard. I stopped playing for a few days and came back and had this problem. I tried fiddling with the settings(gamma, anti-aliasing, etc etc) and adjusting each one seperately didn't change the result. I updated my drivers and no change. Help?
System:
Intel i5 750 2.67ghz x2(processor)
8GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4670(Graphics card)
Windows 7 64bit

If you already tried the in-game functions for that, then you should be able to on your screen adjust brightness gamma etc.

Its not a question of brightness. When I pan the view its like its too much graphics. I'm failing at putting it into words. : /

Check if you dont have HDR put to max.
In video options. A rather handicapping and worthless feature in pretty much any game that has a competitive element in my opinion.
