Too easy to tier up troops

I mean it was so easy before just to get your troops up to t5 in 5-6 looter battles. Sure you have now slowed down the higher tiers a little but then you choose to spread passive soldier training xp boosts all over the skill board ? Whos in charge of these decisions because i want to have an talk with that person if him or her are feeling alright atm....

I know its a process to find the best middle ground for balance but i seen it so often now that you fix something good then you have another part you put in that goes totally the other way that makes no sense. Its like sitting with an good cop and bad slapping you around  If there was some in leadership perk and maybe one in pole arm or one in handed sword (excl bandits that is alright in rogue) i would be alright, but its all over the place and its already still easy to level them up

I'm personally ok with how fast troops level up. I see the passive level ups as bonuses not the way to level up troops and I suspect that's the way TW seems them too.
yeah if you play on lower difficulty setting i would be fine, but not even then since your troops do actually have "more hp" and will survive easier-.--- but here on highest its a joke if you actually want a challenge as its a joke to spread out such ability all over the skill trees and -to be in general to- not specific as before when you actually trained bowmen when you where skilled at bow...which made sense! But yeah im about to say and concure with the statement that this game is becoming an casual one

I play on realistic and I typically don't lose tons of high tier troops except in a big battle that is very evenly matched. If you're taking a lot of losses then do like I do keep a decent size reserve in a castle/town and keep a bunch of prisoners who are ready to join. That way the losses don't feel as impactful. Again the training perks aren't how TW wants you to level up troops so perks spread out are a way to give a small boost to training no matter your playstyle but they aren't the main way to level. I don't see the connection between training perks and being casual, but w/e.

well then like talking to walls i see ^^ Exactly my point when looking at this process, as you where and it seems i need mods later on since the community dont know what issues is

I've read all his posts twice and barely understand them. It's like running up an unevenly spaced staircase.
Not you again, you havent provided anything useful nor constructive all these times so who are you to talk xD Starting to believe you are one of those High Tier trolls to but its just speculations so far  But as i said, as you where. Continue with yours and ill stay quite since you dont seem to understand anyways ^^

What, exactly, are you arguing for? To put all the passive training perks into one place or to get rid of them altogether?
From my understanding, Dr-Shinobi is asking for more specific training from whomever is leader of them. Passive experience boosts should be set for each skill, archery has one that boosts experience for archers etc. But that is my reading of what they wrote I may be wrong.

No im talking about that they are putting general troop training all over the skill tree so it doesnt matter what youre specializing in, you still get substantial buffs in all types of troop training of which is already is way easy to do. So in other words you get more buffs everywhere in something that already is way to easy to do,,,, if that can simplify it well enough for you all

Then my idea would work as it would slow down that spread  I do not disagree that troop training should be slowed down overall, however by having more specialised training, they could lower down troop experience gain. It would also get players to have more varied companions to help with training the troops.

Yes as i mentioned to.. That the one they have with ex your bow skill trains your bowmen if you pick that perk makes sense. Not your one hander or stewardship (in a lot of perks to, to add) trains em all. Its like they are spreading an convenience out to all the character builds as like they put the trainee skill from warband so it would cover in all the other skills as well---- Strength, agility and such

Yeah ik people have different cognitive functions so apologize if i wasnt clear from the beginning and my main language isnt english to so ^^ But sometimes ive noticed people are just *****ing for the *****ing sake not actually playing the game as they want to push Modding agendas on everyone.... not actually wanting to come with concrete solutions of which im always kin to discuss

Thanks. I dont agree with the opinion, since passive training has an almost negligible effect, but at least I understand the conversation now.
Have you compared em in game ? With and without ? (with no mods) Or do we have another one handed spear situation again
