Toning Down Companion Conflicts.

What I'd like is that it's hard to keep a large company of companions, but it is DOABLE if you invest some play-time. By this, I don't mean you have to have EVERYTHING go perfectly, that'd just be way too hard and bothersome. Instead, I mean you should be able to gain your companions' respect over time to the extent they won't mind staying with you, even if you have four companions with the hair-colour they hate.
 
Merely having someone they dislike in the party will not cause a companion to leave for quite some time, unless you consistently side with their opponent. In fact, as long as you're getting good morale bonuses (merely having the three food combination works for me) you'll recover the morale hit in less than a day simply by standing still.

Remember that anything which increases party morale also increases companion morale, with an exception of those who explicitly dislike what you're doing (for example, winning a battle but suffering high casualties in the process).
