TLD (The Last Days, LOTR mod) for M&B 1.011 Info

Not adding the main buddies, kinda shocked.

LOTR describes in detail who interacted with the Fellowship. You as the player are not one of those people.
Frodo & Sam were lost in the wild most of LOTR. Pippin and Merry were in some places at some times. maybe you could accidentally meet them, but more likely not.
Gimli, Aragorn, Legolas also had their own agendas. Not to mention Gandalf, who, as all wizards, comes and goes as he pleases.

Oh yeah, Tom Bombadil is pretty awesome, also Beleg Strongbow from Silmarillion.

Tom is west of the Misty Mountains, TLD is east. And Beleg was long long ago.

You could hire there one of the toughest companions in TLD. Forgot his name, but he could be hired for 4k gold or something. And now it's gone?

Hey, I've got another question. In TLD v2.4 a max number of companions I could hire reached 4. In M&B you can have 8-9. I sure hope we could reach this number in the new version (and they better not whine).

That companion is gone too.

But there are plenty of new companions to be gotten. Just the difficulty of getting them varies.

Only through missions?? Gawd, that would be a dream come true... or, wait, prolly only after reaching some rank, or when the War is started.

Bums me out that Rhun(Or was it Khand?) wont have them smexy chariots.

Hope you port it to warband, but will download M&B just for this!

I struggle to contain the excitement ^^ I have little doubt this game will compete or even easily overcome the amount of time I'll spent in Skyrim.. (Especially considering my PC might fail at handling either of them.. but what the heck, for TLD I'm ready to risk its fusion!)

If we go by the lore, there are about 0 non-hobbits that went into the Shire.

Except Gandalf and the Dwarfs.

They've said a lot of times they aren't having anything on the west side of the Misty Mountains, because nothing happened there during the war of the ring.
