I just made this little thread so I can post music changes to the mod.

Do you want one of the songs in the mod changed? Ask me. I can do in 5 to 10 minutes.

All you have to do is put a track in the "/L'Aigle/music/" folder and then open up music.txt in "/L'Aigle/" and replace "salierilafolliatheme.ogg" with the filename of your new track. It doesn't have to be in OGG format either, you can use WAVs and MP3s.

yes, and you have to change the .ogg to whatever format you are using.
for example if it is a mp3 , to caribbeanpirate.mp3 f.e.

If you're tired to always listen the same tracks loop, but still like those musics, you can add tracks for more diversity.
For this you just need to edit music.txt, copy/paste one of the music you want to increase. Rename it with your new track, and increase the top number of the file by one (or more if you add more songs). The red numbers are the location where the music is played.

The most common are bandit_fight and warband_action. seige_neutral and siege_attempt for siege scenes.

I can't find them in the music file of the mod.

That's normal, the mod don't use them (that's why we hear native musics sometimes). To replace them, just add the new musics tracks and rename them to bandit_fight.ogg or whatever you want to replace in your l'aigle's music folder.

just make sure to replace the .ogg with whatever format you use.

f.e "banditnights.mp3"
if you use mp3.

And it works ? For banditnights.ogg and other battle musics dont included in the mod, you need to replace them with other ogg files no mp3. Otherwise that will not work.

Recently I saw War and Peace (2007) - great movie based on a novel by Leo Tolstoy, with action being set in times of Napoleonic wars with Russia. Official soundtrack is absolutely marvelous - for both battles and peaceful enviroments. I still have some soundtracks in my mind - like the one called '07. Austerlitz' (played during battle scenes when prince Bolkhonsky got wounded and fell unconscious)

Would like to hear it playing battles

Szogunos, the difficult thing will be finding an uncut version of the song,
without talks from the actors, and the full version of it. you have to find a version
that will have the whole song.
