Titanfall

Currently watching TB's video on it and while I was somewhat interested when hearing about it before, all I see there is rather boring to me.
.........But no, no thanks.

My thoughts exactly. The first footage of this I saw was SideStrafe's video, and after having been interested in Titanfall before, my thoughts upon seeing the footage (and upon seeing some of TB's footage) were:

1.) The "0.5 second time to kill" thing. If other people can make that work, good for them, but I don't think I'd be one of them.

2.) Dull graphics. Yes, I'm a graphics whore. The game's environments look okay, but those low-res textures when the guy climbs into his mech and the underwhelming explosions kinda get to me.

3.) The players are just farming kills on the bots in between the comparatively less common run-ins with other players.

4.) Etcetera.

All in all rather dull, so unless it really expands, I'll pass.

I feel for you.

Just watched Vanoss' video on it (though it's not a review or anything) and it does look mediocre, which is a shame because some of the ideas are quite cool.
