Tips on seducnig lords toy our cause?

Hi, I've made my own kingdom quite a while ago, and it's already almost conquered the whole Sarranid Sultanate. However, no matter how hard I try, it seems as if I can get no other lords join me! Even when they say that  they would be militarily safer, more comfortable, and like my reason, they still decline. A little help please?

how high is your right to rule? If it's low lords simply won't see you as having any right to be king, and as such they won't join your cause.

In any case save before asking a lord. If he says no, reload, and ask again at a later date. That's because once you've asked and they refused, you'll have to wait several in-game months before they'll accept talking about it again.
A lord that isn't joining you now, might do so in a few in-game days, so asking periodically (and reloading if they refuse) is the best way.

Ive had luck with the "No need to decide right now" option. Then later on when i talk to them again i seem to have a better success rate. Maybe im just getting lucky but try that.
