Just some quick questions as i've forgotten how the game mechanics work at all.

So i usually like to start our small, i am currently under contract by a baltic tribe, the curonians and have 20 relation with each lord

1) Does the game allow me to take the current place as a king if i have enough relation with the lords? or do i have to conquer the whole kingdom to rule it?

2) What does having good relations with (foreign) : Tavern Keeper, Town, Village specificly offer you? Any bonuses of just a positive text when you meet them next time?

I am very curious to explore every bit of the game's mechanics so i can use it to my advantage whenever the need be

Oh and also

3) When set to hold a position, archers usually tend to go infront, it is sometimes frustrating as you need them in back of your infantry for protection, is there anyway to disable this?

4) My companions and I are orthodox, if by any chance i become a king over baltic territory, will this mean that my party and their party will have constant low morale because of religious clashes?

1- no
2- no
3- don't know
4- no

Weird, good relations with the tavern keeper could potentially have something useful since the game mechanics allow you to gain more.

Are you sure about #4? Mostly my party's morale is low because of cultural clashes, wouldnt that mean that the men of my future lords, as companions would suffer the same loses due to morale?

you and your companions are considered as neutral and not included in the  cultural clashes calculation

ah I forgot ... if you play with the native recruitment system , relationship with the town/village is very important = more recruits with good level (if i remember well )
in addition, you'll earn  in addition  a trade bonus with the city ...

Does this mean i could recruit as many companions from taverns as i can afford? regardless if they're muslim/orthodox/baltic?

Try setting your archers on skirmish mode, so they avoid melee combat altogether, meaning setting them at the front would cause them to retreat to cover. That still is a bad idea because archery in this mod is insane and, assuming your archers don't have good armor, they can get one hit from the enemy archers as well, make sure you have the missile advantage if you want your archers in front.
I realize that I just gave advice and smashed that advice, but you can try the old faithful method of selecting your archers and telling them to hold position behind you for the time being, or just get your infantry and cavalry to advance and don't issue the command to your missiles.
