As long as you make the custom banners on less popular banners it shouldn't be a problem.  I've seen a few guys using the nK and HOBOBANNERs, but not that often.  For the life of me, I don't know why anyone would want to use the ugly white-and-green checkered default nK banner.

Wow you really make some fine heralrdy, I'm wondering whether you can make one of the middle shield of the guy with the olive wreath around his helmet(so possibly an emblem of the entire shield featuring the red "pi" on the white shield with the bronze coloured outer edge):

Yes, I need a large, clear image of it. Otherwise I won't be able to get it to look good on a shield. And videos don't help. I need a static, flat image. No curved shields that are part of any larger image or photo.

Has anyone else noticed texture confusion in game with this?
Often enough the shields will be cycling through textures, as if the game can not decide which one to use, and some of the textures will be a brick or wood thing that obviously do not belong.

Well, not really. I've noticed some blank banners, though. I'm guessing it has something to do with the new faction banners. They refuse to show up on shields.

No, that won't do. It's still too unclear. Do you happen to know the name of the symbol? That would help a lot.

Also could this perhaps be made into an banner? Its the solar shield embled worn by Spartan kings in battle.

Hopefully the M&B team will allow Warband to have custom banners without any moderators having to work it in, would add a lot to the game. Also because I have many banners in mind for a Lakedaemon clan but to much wouldn't really be possibly if there's a limit on it.
