Currently having troops that you prefer a lower tier of are kind of a pain to deal with, as there are so many troops you just automatically upgrade.
It's common to just mindlessly upgrade everything, but we also have good reasons not to ever upgrade certain troops (Battanian Falxmen, Sturgian Bowmen, Aserai Mamlukes, Bandits when you have Veteran's Respect perk, etc.) and they become a nuisance.
If I want a troop type to stay at whatever tier they're at, it would be nice to have some feature to not include them in the upgrade screen, and not make them alert me that troops need upgrades.
