Thrust only swords?

Do you mean the koncerz? That was a spear-sword used by Polish hussars; it's basically an abnormally long estoc.

Actually it would be like hitting someone with a flimsy metal rod.. I suppose they could add "Does 2b damage" so you could be pissed off at all the times you miss-swung your sword..

Ooh, interesting.
However, it seems the thrust only swords in F&S aren't actually visually any different from swords with which you can slash. It looks more like a bug to me.

Historically, other swords which were exclusively used for thrusting were smallswords, whose hollow-ground triangular cross-section blades were meant to be very stiff yet light. Maybe you're talking about those? Fencing foils were originally developped as "simulators" for smallsword fencing.
