Don't be, lol. I use WMM to do the TNARB episodes. It's not as crap as people think it is and if you treat it nicely it will treat you nice.
I'd say if you want something with a bit more flash than WMM get the trail of Adobe Premier. It won't allow you to do the major flashy things but it will give you a wide spread of options to edit videos with.

Aye, a full version of FRAPS is what I use.

The demo is free, but you'll retain the water mark.

yea but when i tried to make the videos it would cut out on me, as if it has a time limit, whats up with that?

Lol, every single video I've uploaded onto my youtube account has been done with WMM. I've found it to be a decent, reliable little tool that gets the job done.

Ahh, yeah, crap. I totally forgot about that. You can only film in 30 second intervals (I think) with the demo version. I got sick of it and acquired myself a copy of the full FRAPS to use. I also use VirtualDub to sharpen and crop the footage, that piece of software takes some getting used to though and you have to keep an eye out for codecs.

Sorry there has been a lax in episodes, real life is a bit of a bastard recently. I've got the next three episodes planned up and a lot of work done, it'll be a while before they see the light of day though.
