This is what a changelog should look like...

I disagree; both games have a wonderful concept, but they never got the polish that they deserved. Taleworlds seems to have a "kick it out the door so we can sell the next one" policy, and they've had it from day 1.

I'm sorry, but why are you spending your time in this forum? I mean, I understand people that come here to complain about negative aspects of the game, hoping that they are listened by the devs and maybe someday get the game to the point they will be tottally satisfied with. But you just think the whole M&B games are just garbage. So, no offense, but why do you come to this forum?

The mod community makes the games fun to play, and the off-topic section is one of the few forums in the world where people can discuss mature topics or jokes without people whining about the subjects being "sensitive".

The lack of love and care severely hurts their end value. Most of the reviews written all conclude that the games have great potential that is annoyingly not acted upon.

Ok, I understood your point about the game and the mods and the off topic thing. And I respect that.

But if I was to give a crap about reviews I would never have bought M&B in the first place. And so I would not have spent more than 1400 hours (and counting) amazing hours playing Warband. What gives me the feeling, after reading the reviews and players opinion that I'm one of a kind. A moron that loves a game so much that almost or no one else does... I don't even have one single friend that plays it. And I got a lot of gamers friends... Helll... should I be ashamed for liking this game so much? I'm starting to feel that way.

It's really not bad at it's core, the concept itself is brilliant. The trouble is that Taleworlds rushes the production (Warband's singleplayer was barely playable when it was first released, and I'm still holding off on purchasing it until some more mods come about for it) and they lose all interest in their past productions once something new is in the works. It's annoying enough when major companies do this, but indie companies rarely have the resources to divide between improving their old rush job and working on the next one.

I bought M&B back when it was in it's beta stage (right at the start of the .9XX stage), so I can't really complain too much as I got a discount on it. But I would never advise anyone to pay full retail for any Taleworlds product, because it probably won't be playable until after the price drops regardless (and it will never be polished unless the modders do it).

And people dont whine about words like "****" or "shiny metal ass"

Unpolished (or should that be unpolished-lithuaniased?) is not the same as half-assed though.
Perhaps if the shiny metal ass was better polished, it would be less offensive to ****s. ****s tend to find shiny objects appealing.

The release of WFAS has brought out the shortcomings of our planning and production capabilities but our entire team is working on a very substantial patch at the moment and we hope to make it up to our players by post-release support.
No offense, but considering how buggy and half-assed M&B and Warband were, I think your shortcomings have been long established. I don't suppose your entire team is ever going to look back and fix those, are they?

This is a valid issue. When Left4Dead 2 was released so shortly after Left4Dead 1, the gamers rioted because they thought Left4Dead 1 would be discontinued, no improvements, no bug fixes, etc. This is what's happening for Mount & Blade games. When the next game is released, obviously the limited amount of devs will focus on fixing the latest game and will not fix anymore bugs from the previous games.

I think that's not right, and Taleworlds has quite a long way to go before becoming more professional. They need to hire more staff to cope with their workload.

Actually, a patch for Warband is on its way. Check your facts.

The last couple of patches have been silly though. Nothing more substantial than minor bug fixes. Serious issues such as Rhodock nerfing, archer spam and weapon reach/speed have not even been talked about by the devs.
