This is a great game

If you like Morrowind, you're a far better roleplayer than me. I like games like Fallout, where you can waltz into a town and kill it. Eventually, I hope to copy this feat in M&B.

Don't get me wrong, I love killing everything in sight sometimes. I was kinda ticked I could't be a bandit and kill the pesants/refugees and take what few belongings they had. They should definetely add an option to attack any group you come across.

Gothic and Gothic 2. Play them or forever regret it. Just great games.

I`m downloading Mount&Blade now. Am I the only one who is just utterly astounded that something like this could be developed by only two people? How do they find time to work their day jobs?

Just reading what other people have said, the preview on rpgdot.com, and looking at the screenshots have given me a very positive feeling about this game already. You guys should be proud of yourselves! Keep working until you see your vision come to fruition, for the benefit of us all!

Thanks!

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magic Obscura

Played it, loved it, if it has rather weird animation and imbalances towards magic... if magic was indeed this powerful, technology would never be invented.

Well, there had been more time for magic to be refined and perfected. Also, I think part of the draw of technology was that becoming a wizard took many years of study to become proficient, while any uneducated peasant could use technological items without schooling. You might have to spend a lot of time learning to shoot a magic missile, but anyone can pick up a gun and fire it.
