I was referred to M&B by a friend in MSN Messenger while I was playing Runescape. Check out this paraphrased transcript:

FRIEND: Dude, check out this game! I have played for hours and its still fun!

ME: Oh great, another game that you will rave to me about until I play it.

FRIEND: It's nothing like Black and White 2! PLAY IT NOW!

ME: But I'm playing Runescape.

FRIEND: M&B is my Runescape. PLAY IT NOWZ0RZ!

ME: .....

Long story short, I downloaded the beta and bought the serial the same night. This game is awesome and I didn't even notice the graphics were not that sophisticated (its still pretty though). I shall now refer this game to everyone I come in contact with. Three cheers for Armagan and his wife! HUZZAH!

Btw your friend/you could bring some more players to M&B. Nobody would mind. ;)
 
This game does need more recognition. I have reccomended it to some personal friends, and at another forum. Virtually everyone who tries it loves it. It really needs some good marketing when it's finished. I think it could blow up if marketed correctly.
 
Hahaha, oh man, what if Armagan is actually a Turkish revolutionary and has programmed the game to blow up every computer it's installed on as soon as a million copies are sold?

Western civilization dying from its own medicine. Brilliant.
 
well bought the game yesteray... didnt think there saw so many playing this game at all :) just gotta say i love it...not great graphics but... the feeling of riding on your horse and using your bow at the same time(!)
first time i really think its fun to use that weapon...

and man... runescape.... im feel sorry for you...
 
I am a fan of flash movies.. If there are any flash artists around, maybe somebody could do a flash movie (good one) about M&B? In Newgrounds there are quite a lot of visitors, and if that flash movie ends up in front page, this game might get a lot of attention from that crowd.

I searched forums and i noticed couple flash movies, but one link was broken.
 
Thats just the speed video, which was posted some time ago! ;)

And so its not completely useable, as thats not the way, the game is.
 
That may be right, but i think they would complain if they find out that they was fooled. How to explain it then?

Also we cant assure that they will be so pleased, that they would not notice, or be angered.
There would always be people, who would be offend. And i could understand them.

Thats like faking a screenshot of a game. And when you bought it and finally can play it...

EA did that with Battle for Middle-Earth. The battles were not nearly as epic as the pre-release screenshots led us to believe . . .

I'm still waiting for patch 1.03 for BFME . . . delay after delay. Oh, who am I kidding? BFME has been uninstalled from my computer for months now. Thank God for M&B . . .
 
yeah it was toooo small in scale, what with rome total war being released then, plus it was just a C&C generals remake, which was a redalert 2 remake which was...... and you couldn't build building where you wanted. i almost bought it though. instead i got R:TW and half life 2
 
Yeah, that's how EA works:) Actually i think M&B doesn't need to fool anyone. It's just so damn good:)
