Think this is possible?

I'd like to try to finish this game by the end of tomarrow; I have taken the entire map with the exception of the nord lands, I have one town, and several castles placed well enough to serve as supply depots. 200 Swadian knights in my unit, and about 100-200 in reserve, and most of my heros have training at 4-5. Settings at full hard. Native module. Think it's possible to finish in under 24 hours? Should have enough cash to pay wages for another three game weeks.

I'm going to advise you not to try and finish in 24 hours, and go do something productive to your real life.

Djude has a good point.  Now, if there was a huge cash prize for doing so, yeah, go for it.  But there isn't.  Instead all you get is 18 hours of sitting on your ass.

you will NOT be able to beat the game because crashes as soon as you beat all the fiefs and castles I believe it will crash, rendering for 24 hours of playing useless..

Maybe I'm just old but I remember that as soon as you take over EVERYONE the game can't find the lord AI's and shut itself down. (Maybe this was in 1.009 or older?)

Personally taking every fife on the map? That seems... somewhat time-consuming. And not entirely necessary.

I remember that bug, but I think it was fixed.

Although I haven't bothered trying to take the whole map in so long I'm not entirely sure.

Yes, that bug has been fixed. And what's wrong with sitting on your ass for 18 hours? M&B has given me some of the best times in my life, so I say don't pay any attention to these bozos and go for it!

Phean just go for timing it instead of attempting to marathon it.  Playing 8-3 hour sessions isn't as bad as a 24 hour game.

Besides that, it can quickly become much less fun if you're going at it bloody-minded to just "finish" the game. Playing in smaller sessions has always been more enjoyable to me (for games in general, anyway. I'm a long way from considering my native campaign "finished").

Same here, it's actually impossible for me to play any game more than 30 min (except for console games)
I get bored easily, and i'm sure the same thing could happen to anyone in the long run.

If you have a whole day free you should play M&B until you get a bit tired of it, then poot around the Forum for half an hour or so, then play M&B for a while, and so on, until you pass out.

Oh, and did I mention that you should be drinking the whole time? Beer provides a very pleasant dimension to M&B, and you quickly realize you're actually too drunk to kill anyone, and go out into the real world and have fun trying to get into other people's pants instead.

While I am against anyone sitting on their ass for 18 hours playing a game as unhealthy and immoral, that changes completely if you are drinking beer.  Beer justifies all.

Hey! Someone who gets me... No, I didn't play for 18 hours straight, best I managed was 4-5 hours in a row, and took care of other things intermittently. But, I did take Calradia before sunday ended. Look, I'm just the weird kind of person who gives themselves arbitrary challenges for the hell of it. Besides, I've been sitting on that one game for months, I just wanted to end it.
