Things you want (to be able to do) for mods.

Think of this as a quick wishlist for things you'd like to make mods possible, at least compared to warband. You can go into detail on how it'd help specific things if needed. I think the Mount and blade series has so much more potential than, say, skyrim, to be an incredible platform that every kind of game is on, that spreads through word of mouth, and so on.

-Ability to create new creatures that aren't cunningly reskinned horses or humans.
-Flying/swimming and climbing.
-sections that can play like a conventional level (IE, move through the dungeon, kill enemies as they appear, loot, sneak, work out a puzzle, watch a scripted sequence etc)
-Changing the amount of slots for equipment, be that simplifying so that a person has a one-item-outfit, or adding a complex layered system of armour, a backpack, a selection of small items, and a spell list.
-Quick and hotkets select for weapons, items, spells, abilities. Coding NPCs to use these'd be fantastic. Adding in mundane things like sprint, lean and prone would be an incredible way to make mods very different from one another.
-Ability to create new damage types. Fire, Ice, Oil, Poison A,B and C, divine, healing and intoxicants; all of which can have their own calculations and be affected by armour or attributes or whatever.
-Environmental hazards; Seasonal mud, traps, plants you wouldn't want to run through, geysers, crumbling cliffs, lightning strikes, storms, rushing water. On the overland map, deserts, swamps, frozen regions, diseased regions.
-Animations that use two or more actors. (Exciting finishers, background duels, pass the salt, hand me the spear, kneel to the king for fealty, put my armour on, try to get the dog off your arm, have the camel kneel down so I can mount it. All those things you weren't thinking of)
-Changing attributes, what they do and how you get them. Maybe I want three attributes, maybe I'm doing a system with ten attributes. Maybe I've got some attributes that are hidden, social, or for an unnatural enhanced individual that're layered over what they already have.
-some kind of interior generator'd be excellent.
- Accents, voices, and different fonts for different languages.

minor things
-being able to control colours or paterns on equipment ( lacquer, dyes, wear and tear, if the metal is rusted, battered, patern welded, well polished, or made of something unusual like brass or a strange fantasy material)  would be fantastic, as would attaching modifiers like one variation causing something to be thicker or thinner.
-Books you can read yourself
I'm sure I'm missing a myriad here.  What've I left out? What's way too much effort and I should be shot for just thinking of it. Should I have posted way less so you could have more to the conversation. Discuss.

This dev blog should intrest you.

But honestly, this post seems more fitting for the "Features you want to see in Bannerlord" thread, rather than a request for what we can do for modding the game.

That's dissapointing in a fair few sections.

I don't particularly know why you wouldn't be able to craft melee weapons but not anything else, especially considering more lordly armour and the seperate meshes they're showing. Maybe that's something we can change.

Well, we don't really want flying or spells and potions in bannerlord's native, do we? I mean I'd love an attack hawk but...
