Compliments for the game!
I bought my activation code two days ago and I'm impressed by the quality of this work in progress.
After a 2 days play..
here's my suggestions:
TECH
- Put in a mouse pointer!
- Activate the scroll option for the mouse wheel (is really annoying to scroll inventory by the bar)
- fix the inventory bar problem (you have to find the exact spot where to click if you want to scroll the inventory...)
- set an option to equip directly your party members (instead of trading goods with them) and activate it also in town (now you can only talk to them outside).
- fix the problem with savegames and update game patches! If I buy a game and play and rise my favorite character, I don't want to loose it!!! Is basic marketing strategy.
- Put a GO TO menu. Once I've visited a town it'll be inserted in this menu; it could be useful to have this menu in the map screen where I can click the destination I want to go to.
- put the option LOAD in the main menu (so we'll have not to quit and restore every time).
- put the option to equip your entire party! It could be better I think if I could equip my knights with better armors and weapons (also a good solution for high level games when you have a lot of money and don't know how to spend it.... Want a better army? Ok! Buy 10 full plate armors for a ton of gold and equip your knights!) (same thing for castle. If Ican spend money to build walls, towers and defenses, stables, blacksmiths, etc... I'll be pushed to go around and fight and get quests, etc))
GAMPLAY
- Put some Named enemy. Some npc armed with unique items and strong enough to become the target of a long campaign (10 - 20 game days) to defeat him.
- Put in some legendary monster (like a dragon killing people in nearby villages or a Kimaera, or the quest for the horn of Unicorn). Use mythos by chivalry pohems.
- Set final prizes for tournaments (a unique weapon/armor, a castle, e noble title, etc.)
- Put in the option to build, rise and extend your castle, noble title, and territories.
- Put the option to attack/siege enemy towns.
- Put unique places to discover by ancient/rare maps you can win/buy in towns. Unique places could behold ruins, dungeons, towers, etc. where you can find unique items, better equipment, special characters to join your party or simply gold treasures.
- the explore dungeon/ruins option could be really fun. I think the game lacks a bit of customization options. I explain. The exploration and treasure seeking part is really important to get the sense of adventure you can mix with the actual battle/war system. And the option to wear rare/unique pieces of equipment or own your castle and territories will produce a deeper immersion.
QUESTIONS
- What's the use of tools? They are only goods or are intended to do something in the future?
