Things that have not improved

You sure about that? I've tested that and I can't seem to get any kind of measurable result that would suggest that. Plus I have trouble shooting even while standing still.
Yup, we even had it toned down during the beta to make it no longer possible to shoot around corners. If you're moving on the horse it takes around 25% or so of the horses momentum in the direction the horse is travelling.

Not sure why it would affect you while standing still though. I've not noticed any real difference in the shooting, although I haven't tried using a bow from first person perspective yet.
I'm shooting from third person. Eh, maybe I just forgot how to shoot...

Difference is, when they tell them to remove their helm they don't look like a wanted man.
Well of course, the guards all know what you look like, becuase they've seen your face on television and your photographs on wanted posters.
I really don't think this is a valid justification. There's no way for them to be informed of what you look like with sufficient accuracy for them to be able to recognize you. And even if such a way existed, keep in mind that we play shapeshifters who are able to change their facial features and hair and skin colors at will.

That

Well, if you think about it, why in the name of god, would you let a hobo into your castle/town who can't make a single step without jingling with a bunch of throwing daggers.
They're not daggers, it's his coin purse.

Surely if daggers jingle like a purse, a really large purse, presumably with sharp bars of gold in it, then why can you not disguise your sword as... I don't know... a backscratching device? And how often would a guard see a hobo with a jingling purse anyway? And what exactly stops that undoubtedly underpaid and naturally corrupt guard from mugging that hobo and finding out that there ain't no gold in that purse, but cold steel?

The truth is that if a wanderer is able to conceal a dozen of daggers in his rags, there's nothing really stopping him from sneaking-in a claymore the same way. One dagger, maybe, but a dozen daggers is in no way easier to conceal than a sword, or a mace.

Yeah, you could hide anything in those rags. A one handed sword at the very least.

I completly agree, especially if a 1 party lord can carry his wife around in his armor!

Yeah a sword or axe.

Just noticed something interesting, though I'm sure you already know it. When you do ALT+TAB while playing Warband, the game slows down a little bit but continues to play in the background, unlike the original M&B. Possibly a good thing, or is it?

- Related to the above, soldiers are still set on "charge" orders at the start of the battle. Telling them to stop causes them to turn around and block your way, especially annoying in the case of cavalry. This was okay in the early versions of M&B with no command interface, where battles were completely chaotic and the player had minimal control over them. With the more involved, tactical battles of the new versions, having your army go Leeroy Jenkins in every battle is just not working.

Happens to me almost every time and they get in my way and even push me back... I got stuck one time and was pissed.

I'd even settle for having my throwing dagger turn into a melee weapon like the other throwing weapons. Also in the old m&b when you knocked the first guard out and stole his blade and then used it on the next guard it actually killed him, however these guards are so strong they can take 12 throwing knives to the face and a stolen blade through the heart and they are only knocked unconscious? I mean the 12 knives in the face should have killed him but even after I scramble his heart he wakes up several hours later and waits five days for his one denar paycheck? Also why can't you bribe the guard I'd willingly take 500 denars to let in a hobo that could take me out with three strong hits with his walking stick.

Adding another one to the list, it's such a shame we don't have the ability to pay people more money in order to keep them happy. It's such a basic, intuitive thing to do that I was seriously perplexed when I couldn't find it once morale become an issue. Perhaps in the form of a slider, allowing us to set how large a percentage of their wages troops actually receive. An unhappy party could be kept together by wage increase, while a happy party with morale kept high by other means could be run cheaper.

Ah, cool idea. They could be looking forward to spending the coin next time the party stopped at a town, gambling and wenching.

Reminds me of Stronghold where you had sliders for food rationing and taxes. The more food and the lower taxes made happier subjects.

Could work for MB too with wage slider for starters and maybe food consumption to add later.

But you'll have to consider that by the time you have gained hostility with a faction and need to sneak into town, you are already a lord and amongst the most powerful men in the land.
Maybe a feature could be added so that the chance for them to recognize you is extremely low if you are an unknown warrior, but increases dramatically as you gain more power?

since warband is released, it got very strange in these boards. archonsod is really trying hard to justify EVERY ****ING THING the TW squad has done, I don't know if he is a joker or an administrator anymore.

Why is it still 50 denar for slaves no matter their level!
Ransom not yet implemented!  On rescue some lords brother quest.
Arena bets are still tiny!
Enemy still appear from thin air when sallying out, can't they use the main gate therefore if you win allowing you easy access to the town/castle.
Can't I just offer money to enemy lord to join my fraction.
And the amount of stuff you can tell captive lords is terrible, wheres my gloating speech or evil monologue!
And why can't I warn other lords away from the lady I'm trying to court.
And why only 5 throwing weapons.
And the 1 ladder in sieges, and that its at a fixed location can't you have a mixed ways in like for multiplayer maps.

And I am aware that several of these things can be fixed myself, just posting for those who can't or shouldn't need to.

Can i just point out the most retarded thing in this game which is utterly fixerble in a matter of seconds and never has been?

Push backspace, you get a nice lil menu comand thing which is all well and good. O wait a minute what does that say? O i cant see because its a black background and everything in the game is a dark colour and the letters are seethrough so i cant read it. GREAT. You have to look into the sky to use it, who the hell thought of that and why was it never changed? Utterly moronic tbh.

Also got attacked by the prisoner i was rescueing today. Just ruined it all for me and i quit .

Though ive not checked, i suspect that the devs dont read these threads as they are too hostile. Which is a shame because if they did they could of improved this game so much.

Speaking of the command interface, still no minimap, even though mods have shown it can be done. How can I command my troops effectively if I can't tell whether I'm sending them to stand on a hill or in the river?

Possibly, but that still doesn't change the fact that most people have never seen me. But I like your idea. Even better if it also depends on how often you visited that particular town and how long ago your last (undisguised) visit was. You could be a king, but if you've never shown your face in a town, nobody should recognize you.
